100% Uji Tea

At Moss Matcha, we honour the spirit of Japanese tea craftsmanship through a deep partnership with a sixth-generation family-run tea farm in Wazuka, Kyoto — one of the historic heartlands of Uji tea cultivation since 1854. For over 170 years, their family has dedicated themselves to growing and stone-grinding premium matcha with uncompromising care. This heritage guides every step of our sourcing, allowing us to bring true ceremonial-grade Uji matcha to Singapore.

Every cup is hand-whisked with traditional techniques, creating a smooth, vibrant flavour that reflects the land, the farmers, and centuries of quiet mastery.

The tea farm owner walks through the matcha fields with a shade cloth in hand, moving between the rows with practiced precision as part of the shading process essential to cultivating high-quality matcha.

Longjing Matcha

At Moss Matcha, we also honour the rich heritage of Chinese tea by introducing a rare matcha from Jingshan, Hangzhou, crafted from the Longjing variant Chunyu No.1. West Lake Longjing is one of China’s most iconic green teas, celebrated for its green hue, fragrant aroma, and sweet finish.

This Longjing matcha carries a distinctly lighter aroma and vivid sweetness compared to Japanese matcha, offering the signature clarity of Longjing tea with a refined Chinese character — adding a new and beautifully unique dimension to our matcha experience.

Insight in calm,

wisdom in the small.

We see matcha not only as a drink, but as a gentle ritual — an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and savour the meaningful moments hidden in daily life.

We hope our matcha brings warmth to the moments that matter — a quiet pause, a shared smile, a gentle breath. Whether enjoyed alone or with loved ones, let it be a small ritual that restores balance and mindfulness to your day.

From farm to cup, our matcha embodies the essence of thoughtful tea culture — inviting calm, connection, and simple moments of joy in every sip.
